Indian facial dance Indian facial dance

This is kinda cool, and would be a great for an animated video if it weren't 5 seconds long. If you're gonna make a short, looped animation, make it a .gif file and put it in the Newgrounds Art portal. Don't post it into the Movies Portal unless it's at least a minute's worth of animation. What you could of done and still can do instead is use the rest of the song you used in this one and create a musical video perhaps using this animation as a base idea and have them both "dancing" to the beat of the music and build a story from there.
What little animation there is here looks fluid and well synced to the music playing and I really liked the stars in the background exploding with different colors but other than that there really isn't much to say. There's an awesome idea in here somewhere you just gotta work harder and (much) longer on your animations and you can expect a whole 5 stars from me next time, perhaps! Till next time.

This isn't terrible, but it really, REALLY needs a lot work. For starters, don't fade in and out so long if you're going to do a one minute clip introducing us to your story, it doesn't tell the audience anything nor does it leave us for much an impression when all we do see is three people standing around looking at each other with blank looks on their faces. If your going to use those fade ins, use title cards in between each black out telling us a little about the story, characters, locale, or anything relative the animation your presenting. If this is an ongoing series that I'm not aware of, then try to make it so its more welcoming to newer audiences who have never heard of Double Dragon or whatever your version of Double Dragon is.

The title "Double Dragon" itself needs remodeling. Don't use basic colors like red and blue, use font styles that complement the background/setting/art style/etc. and transition it into view matching the mood your trying to set. And I'm assuming this has nothing to do with the main series, so I'd suggest a subtitle like Double Dragon: Armageddon or something.(It doesn't have to be as cheesy as that but something other than DD)

The animation, what little there was, needs an overhaul. Don't use the basic sprite sheet to animate your toons, use Microsoft paint or somethin' and make your own unique animation using these sprites as a base and build from there.

From the first moment I heard the music I thought that this was either going to be a mystery or horror/suspenseful flick, if you were intending on making this like the original Double Dragon Series, I'd advise more action packed music. But if your aiming for more horror... well... lets just say using Double Dragon Sprites probably won't invoke much terror in someone, or leave them in much suspense when they're not even doing anything in the first place.

When it comes down to it, this was just bland and uninteresting I'm sorry to say. My advice? Look at other people's pixelated works and learn from them. Learn transitioning and setting the mood for your story, write down a storyboard before you start animating. You can do this if you just push yourself and learn. Cheers, pal. I hope you do better next time.

This is the exact type of critiquing I needed. It is something that I just do an animation but as a story I have been wanting to make something out of that and a storyboard I have been in the making of doing one at the moment. I know the trailer seemed a bit blegh and all but it's really my first time doing something like this.

It's a bit more in the mind set of a test with the vcam since it's my first time using it . I have a lot more than I am in need to learn and I am going to take the advice here that you leave and follow that by doing a bit more research. Thank you for your words you have been very helpful.

A last word I know the video feels it might drag but again learning for the first time and still taking in any and all that I can learn to make them. Once more thank you for your comment and advice. *Tally-HOOOOO*

Welp, color me intrigued! The animation, visuals, camera work, sound, hell even the set up described in the author comments is pretty damn neat! Job well done!

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel. Perhaps we'll see what the other combatant can do? Just a thought. Cheers.
